Japan Trip Photos
If you're a Kamen Rider fan, Japan is pretty much the place to be. Although I unfortunately don't live there (yet!), I have traveled
to the Land of the Rising Sun twice, one in 2004 and then again from the end of 2004 to May of this year. On both occasions I
lived there for an extended amount of time, partly with the aim of progressing my academic career, and also partly to buy Rider
stuff, watch Rider shows, and meet a few Riders (well, guys in Rider suits, but I did see a few actors as well!) Because hey,
wouldn't you? And of course, with each major Rider-related activity I took tons of photos, and have begun the arduous process
of uploading them here. And yes, I am currently planning to return this winter, so I'm sure that will mean even more photos to add.
Japan Trip 2004

Toei Studio Park, Kyoto
Take a trip back in time at Toei's own theme park, where our masked heroes are out in full force! Well, dummies of them, anyway.

Suzuka Circuit Event
An all-out extravaganza loaded with Rider Machines, Undead, and girls in Blade & Garren-themed costumes!

Hamanako Pal Pal
Join me as I recount my pilgrimage to one of the holiest of original Kamen Rider locations: the site of the final two episodes.

Kamen Rider Super Live 2004
Possibly the biggest Rider stage event outside of Tokyo, featuring the Blade gang getting a little help from their predecessors.

Japan Trip 2005/06

Super Chara Dome 2006
Easily the largest assembly of costumes I've ever seen, plus one crazy stage show, special guest stars, and my debut on the big screen!

Osaka Castle        Coming Soon!
A majestic, towering part of Japan's history...that also happened to be the site of a duel between Rider 2 and Dokugander!

Tokyo Tower        Coming Soon!
Would any trip to Tokyo be complete without it? Best known to Rider fans as being a constant fixture outside Tendô's window.

Sarushima       Coming Soon!
A well-known tourist spot that has been host to a number of famous Rider battles, including the debut of Gelshocker!

Bandai Museum       Coming Soon!
Now sadly closed, but the main man made it there (twice) in 2006 to bring you the inside scoop on the former center of all things Bandai.

Toei Studio Park/Hamanako Pal Pal Redux        Coming Soon!
I actually got a chance to go back to a few favorites from last time, and even discovered some new surprises.
