仮面ライダーV3の必殺技
Combat Techniques
Combining Rider 1's skills with Rider 2's strength, Kamen Rider V3 has the best of both worlds. We're talking about a variety of
powerful killing moves that makes V3's arsenal one of the most diverse. V3 favors kicks to punches, and he has more variations
of the standard "Rider Kick" than maybe anyone else. V3 also has his share of unique moves that don't fit the usual categories,
including one that uses his entire body as a weapon! Additionally, he as at least one combo move with the Double Riders as well
as two special moves that require the use of his motorcycle, Hurricane, to pull off. Many of V3's signature attacks & moves are
also included the list of his famous 26 Secrets. This list provides photos & descriptions of many of V3's most famous attacks seen
in Kamen Rider V3 and later Rider series.

►V3 Kick/V3 Hanten (Return) Kick
V3 has so many different spins on the default V3 Kick, he rarely ever uses the original one! More
often, he'll use the Hanten version, either alone or in conjunction with another move, as in those seen
below. The regular old V3 Kick, which is pretty much like Rider 1 & 2's Rider Kicks, sees use in
episodes #6, 18, 28, & 42. The Hanten version, on its own, is used in #5 & #12, among others.
►V3 Kirimomi (Tailspin) Kick
In this variation, V3 twists around in midair before landing the fatal kick. Used in episodes #10, 19 &
49.
►V3 Kaiten (Revolving) Double Kick
V3 jumps in the air, spins around in a corkscrew fashion, hits the enemy, then goes into a Hanten
Kick and kicks them again. Used in episode #2, probably before the Hanten Kick got its official
name, hence the "Double".
►V3 Kaiten (Revolving) Full Kick
V3 leaps into the air, revolves around in a "rolling" motion (like Rider 2's Kaiten Kick), and lands a
two-foot kick into the enemy's face. Used in episodes #22, 25, 26, 41, & 52. Used under the name
"V3 Full Kaiten Kick" in episodes #16, 32 & 50.
►V3 Kirimomi (Tailspin) Hanten (Return) Kick
Combine the V3 Kirmomi Kick & V3 Hanten Kick, and you get this one. Used in episode #30, to
send Kani-Laser (mutated alter-ego of Doktor G) packing.
►V3 Flying Kick
V3 jumps up with the enemy, and kicks them whilst in midair. I find the name of this attack highly
amusing, because it makes it seem like none of the other V3 Kicks are cool enough to be considered
"Flying Kicks"! Used in episode #31.
►V3 Sky Kick
V3 jumps straight up in front of the enemy and falls back to the earth, both feet first. And he pretty
much ends up landing on top of his opponent. Used in episode #39.
►V3 Screw Kick
V3 becomes a human screw and, well, you can see for yourself. Used in episode #6. One of the 26
Secrets.
►Big Sky Kick
V3 puts the pedal to the metal on Hurricane, takes off into the air, leaps off of the bike, and delivers a
high-speed kick of justice to the unfortunate foe, in this case Fire-Condor. Used in episode #36.
►V3 San-Dan (Triple) Kick
V3 strikes the opponent three times with one kick, sorta like the V3 Hanten Kick. Used in episode
#48. San-Dan is literally "Three-Level" or "Three-Step". Oddly enough, it looks very different from
the below variation, editing style-wise.
►V3 Kaiten (Revolving) San-Dan (Triple) Kick
In this version, V3 also strikes the opponent three times with one kick, but he doesn't bounce back
after each kick like with the above. Instead, he just hits them three times in a row. But it looks cool,
and that's what really matters. Also, there's a head-over-heels spin before the kick, or rather, the
kicks. Used in episode #35, which means it actually predates the non-Kaiten version.
►V3 Enshin (Centrifugal) Kick
Used in episode #4, after V3 takes a beating from TV-Bae & Ika-Fire. The pre-kick sequence
(which has a model flying around complete with biplane noises) may look silly, but the actual kick is
awesome, as V3 takes down two enemies at once. You just gotta love how TV-Bae & Ika-Fire are
like "Oh, @#$%!" in this photo. One of the 26 Secrets.
►V3 Mach Kick
In order to defeat Shibito-Kômori in episode #40, V3 needs to learn this handy little technique, that
involves him spinning around in midair, feet out, and slamming into the enemy at top speed. Thanks to
a little help from Tachibana, he's able to do just that.
►V3 Punch
As you can probably tell by now, V3 really does favor the kicks (in fact, we still haven't covered them
all) but he does let his fists do the talking from time to time, although rarely as the final blow.
►Big Sky Punch
Before unleashing the Big Sky Kick, V3 warms Fire-Condor up with this little number, also achieved
in combination with Hurricane. Used in episode #36.
►V3 Dasshutsu (Escape) Punch
A neat little trick that allows V3 to escape from sticky spots with an extra-powerful punch. Comes in
handy when our hero finds himself eaten alive by Kamakube-Game in episode #43.
►V3 Dengeki (Electric Shock) Chop
There's been a bit of confusion about this move, which V3 pulls out in episode #13. A couple books
will use pictures of this scene and just call it "V3 Chop", while others list it as the Propeller Chop, one
of the 26 Secrets. However, the case seems to be that what V3's actually doing is a move separate
from either, although it's basically an electric-powered chop used to short circuit Jishaku-Inoshishi's
magnet hand. As for what the actual Propeller Chop looks like, just move back from your computer,
stand up, and swing your arms around repeatedly in "propeller" fashion, and there you have it.
And if any of you actually just did that, you now have my deepest respect.
►V3 Kirimomi (Tailspin) Chop
V3 jumps in the air, spins around and delivers a swift chop to Yuki-Ookami in episode #33.
►V3 Double Attack
V3 lifts up his foe, spins them around, chucks them into the air, and then jumps up to kick them back
down. Used in episode #8
►V3 Body Attack
V3 jumps up and slams his whole body into the enemy in midair! Getting hit by 78 kg of V3 is
apparently too much for Camera-Mosquito. Used in episode #29.
►V3 Driller
V3 can turns his body into a human drill, which is useful for digging through the ground in a hurry.
Used in episode #37.
►V3 Drill Attack
What happens when you do a V3 Driller the other way around? You get the V3 Drill Attack, where
our hero first lifts an enemy into the air and then plows right into them like an out-of-control power
drill. Used in episode #8. One of the 26 Secrets.
►Red Lamp Power
The central red light on V3's Henshin Belt draws in energy and then expels it twice as strong as before.
First used in episode #10. One of the 26 Secrets.
►Red Bone Power
V3 concentrates all his energy into the central red "thorax" on his chest armor, and releases it in an
explosive charge. Used in episode #19. One of the 26 Secrets.
►V3 Barrier
V3 turns on the juice, creating a defensive barrier around his whole body. Used in episode #11. One
of the 26 Secrets.
►V3 Hopper/Scramble Hopper
Although not necessarily an attack, the V3 Hopper is an oft-used tool for finding Destron after they've
run off so he can track them down and kick their butts some more. Stored in a capsule on his belt, the
Hopper fires of a miniature satellite that rockets up into the air 500 meters, and can scan for baddies
within a 10 kilometer radius. The "Scramble" variation carries a special attachment that can be used by
others (potential Destron victims) as a limited personal shield and sort of sonic weapon that
deters/annoys Destron's goons. Each is one of the 26 Secrets.
►Gyaku (Reverse) Double Typhoon
You called down the thunder? You got it! Arguably one of V3's strongest attacks, the green guy hits
the enemy with everything he's got. This depletes his energy so much that he must wait 3 hours before
being able to transform again, which is why it's used very sparingly. Seen in episodes #15 & 46. One
of the 26 Secrets.
►V3 Energy Zen Kaihô (Complete Release)
I'm not sure whether this is supposed to be even more powerful than the Gyaku Double Typhoon, but
V3 uses it to escape after being buried alive in episode #52. As with the V3 Enshin Kick, the sound
effect choice is sort of funny (it kinda sounds like some magic sparkling thing) but don't be fooled, this
thing really packs a serious punch, and moves dirt faster than a bulldozer fueled strictly by Mountain
Dew Code Red.
Combination attacks with the Double Riders
►Rider Triple Power
When Rider 1 & 2 are on their New Cyclones, V3 stands with one leg on each bike, and in a carefully
choreographed maneuver, the Triple Riders slam into whatever Kaijin is unlucky enough to be in their
way! Used in episode #34.
Miscellaneous V3 Combat Techniques
►V3 Kaiten (Revolving) Kick: Used in episode #21, it's basically a V3 Kirimomi Kick variation.
►Hissatsu (Certain Kill) Kirimomi (Tailspin) Kick: Used in episode #47, ditto.
►V3 Hissatsu (Certain Kill) Kick: Used in episode #48. It's a good thing it's "Certain Kill" in
name only, because Riderman takes this one (although it's meant for the Leader of Destron.)
►V3 Triple Punch: Like the V3 Kaiten San-Dan Kick, but with a punch. Used in episode #37.
►V3 Chop: Regular old flying chop. Used in episode #50.
►V3 Double Kick: Used in the 8 Riders vs. Milky Way King movie, it's actually the V3 Hanten
Kick, and our hero just forgot the name. But don't mention it to him, or he might do one on you!
►V3 Double Hanten (Return) Kick: Used in New Kamen Rider episode #35, proving V3 spent
some time learning new moves, or rather, rearranging the words of existing ones to make new attack
names. I expect to see him us a V3 Double Enshin Hanten Kirimomi Big Sky Flying Screw Drill
Mach Kaiten San-Dan Hissatsu Full Kick some day.
